Working Together
Supporting every learning through partnership
At More Than Words Tuition, we believe the best outcomes are achieved when families, schools and professionals work together.
Through specialist tuition, SEN support and confidence-building fitness sessions, we provide personalised educational support that helps children and young people overcome barriers, build confidence and achieve meaningful progress.
We also provide professional dyslexia assessments for children and young people aged 8–16. Conducted by a qualified specialist teacher and dyslexia assessor, each assessment offers a clear understanding of a learner's strengths, identifies any barriers to learning and provides detailed recommendations to support both home and school.
Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, a school looking for specialist intervention, or an organisation requiring tailored educational provision, we work collaboratively to ensure every learner receives the support they need.
Who We Support
We work with children and young people who:
Need additional academic support.
Have dyslexia or other specific learning differences.
Have SEND.
Experience anxiety or low confidence.
Are experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).

We work with:
Virtual School
Local Authorities
Alternative Provision
SEND Services
Family Support Teams
Educational professionals
Our flexible approach allows us to provide personalised programmes that meet individual educational plans and wider wellbeing needs.
Working with Other Professionals
Supporting a child often involves a wider team. Where appropriate, we work collaboratively with other professionals involved in a learner's education and development.
This may include:
SENCOs
Educational Psychologists
Speech and Language Therapists
Occupational Therapists
Social Workers
Family Support Workers
Pastoral Teams
By sharing information appropriately and maintaining clear communication, we help create joined-up support that places the learner at the centre of every decision.
Our Whole Child Approach
Learning is about more than academic achievement. Confidence, wellbeing and physical development all play an important role in helping children and young people reach their potential.
For some learners, confidence is built just as much through movement and achievement as it is through academic success. By combining specialist educational support with confidence-building fitness sessions, we help children discover their strengths, stay motivated and develop the resilience to succeed both academically and personally.
Our holistic approach recognises that every learner is different. Some learners thrive through traditional teaching, while others benefit from movement, practical activities and opportunities to build confidence beyond the classroom.
Our confidence-building fitness sessions are delivered by our qualified children's fitness coach through our partnership with Zucapowerfit, allowing us to offer a holistic approach that supports children's academic progress, wellbeing and physical confidence.
